The Broadcast Sweater

Two patterns released in a row is kind of crazy. I've been really dragging my feet with the Broadcast Sweater pattern, but releasing the Alluvial cowl kicked me into gear. I'm excited to have it out in the world, and a little nervous, too. I hope that you will love it as much as I do and enjoy the process of creating one of your own.

New Pattern! Alluvial Layer Cowl

Alluvial Cable Cowl

When I designed this reversible cable cowl, I knew just the yarn to use for it - Tanis Fiber Arts Orange Label Cashmere/Silk Worsted weight yarn. It is so scrumptious! The cowl is knit in the round, in one piece and the cables are done on the purl and knit sides. This cowl can be worn loose like a necklace or layered for warmth! Its Ravelry page is here.

Size: One size.
Yarn: 2 skeins Tanis Fiber Arts Orange Label (75% merino, 15% cashmere, 10% silk; 115g = 200yds), sample shown in Cobalt colorway.
Needles: 5mm 40” circular needles
Gauge: 8 stitches x 22 rows = 2 1/2 inches x 2 1/2 inches in stockinette stitch.
Additional Materials:
Cable needle
Stitch marker
Yarn needle

My favorite skirt

Watching the world go by.

I'm so sad that Mociun stopped producing clothing, her patterns were the best. However, she still makes gorgeous jewellery and recently opened a store in New York.
