I have fallen for this gorgeous necklace by Aesa, the Ascensions Necklace. It's out of my reach, but I can't stop looking at it. I think it would dress up every outfit and be a great conversation piece.

In the meantime, this tutorial on making this adorable braided necklace is perfect! I can't wait to get back to the city to pick up all the right supplies.

Jewelery does amazing things to outfits, I agree! I am currently living in Taiwan and find the coolest things in the "night markets"!

Both those necklaces are great! Jewellery really does make an outfit more personal. Lately I have been wearing lots of big silver rings and bracelets from my mom, as well as some great vintage finds. My current jewellery motto is more is more!

I tried making the necklace yesterday... I think it's key to use the larger small beads, and not the really small beads. I used really small beads, and made my strands too long! It ended up a neat braid that didn't quite line up at the end. Hmph. I still have hope though, and will try for round two over the next couple days!
